Canosa di Puglia

Ancient town Canosa, flourishing centre since the 7th century B.C. The streets are overlooked by the 18th and 19th century palaces and elegant churches, but it is in the underground that the true treasure of the city is preserved, with the important hypogea including the Lagrasta, the largest in southern Italy, an ancient aristocratic tomb, composed of three rooms and nine burial rooms.
