Molfetta
Smell of sea country, a land kissed by the sun: welcome to Molfetta. Molfetta is an unmissable destination of every archaeological path and shines for countless points of value, a must see is the historic center, called Isola di Sant’Andrea. The enchanting Cathedral of San Corrado overlooks the port and is the most magnificent of the churches in the Romanesque style of Puglia. Built between 1150 and the end of the 13th century. It was first named after Santa Maria Assunta and then St. Corrado, patron saint of the city. The church is covered by three domes lined up on the central nave; it is very interesting that Byzantine, Romanesque and Muslim elements coexist in the same building.
